STAUFF’s comprehensive range of tooling provides the capability to
bend and end form steel and stainless steel tube and pipe.

▪ Standard bend radius available is 2xD suitable for   6-50 mm OD metric,
  ¼"-2" OD tube imperial, and ½"- 1.½" nominal bore pipe
▪ Additional bend radii available on request: 1.5, 2.5 & 3.0 x D
▪ End-forming tooling: suits 6-42 mm OD metric, ¼"–1.½" OD imperial

Precision Tube End Preparation

To ensure a clean, safe and leak-free system, STAUFF Technology Centre professionally prepare tube and connector assemblies by cutting, deburring and internally cleaning every tube assembly using precision technology in a modern, highly clean environment.

Customised Assembly of Components & Kits

Integral to STAUFF Technology Centre’s services, is the supply of custom-made components and kits assembled and packaged to your exact specification - including professional labelling and bar-coding.

STAUFF Technology Centre can supply and prepare in kit form custom bent tubes with pre-assembled screw fastenings, made to measure hose assemblies and pre-assembled clamps. The kits are pre-packaged and labelled to customer requirements, quality inspected and delivered direct to your production line.

STAUFF can also procure third-party components on your behalf, therefore improving your procurement efficiency, expediting assembly times and helping you minimise unnecessary inventory. 


Tube & Pipe Scanning & Design

STAUFF Technology Centre utilises the MICROSCRIBE design software including 2D / 3D coordinate-measuring arm for efficient and accurate determination of the geometric data of sample pipe shapes. Equipped with a precision contact probe, the system plots the pipe’s measuring data using pipe-specific software to continuously acquire and evaluate the sample’s critical data, which may be edited in tabular form, CSV format, or CAD file format.

Tube & Pipes that exceed the basic measuring range can also be measured continuously and without any difficulties as the pipe measuring software includes an integrated “leapfrog” function. Thereby the measuring arm is displaced while maintaining the actual coordinate system and without  interrupting the measuring process.

Linked to our computerised bending machines, this system can reproduce a design from a sample of tube or pipe if no drawing is available. As this scanning system is portable our specialist designers can attend your production facility to scan and programme on site. STAUFF use the acquired data to produce samples for your validation prior to final production. This specialised precision measuring
system saves many hours of your design and measuring time, whilst maintaining total accuracy and reliability.
